The Manor House Club

In the center of the community is the Manor House, the original 1917 English-style country house overlooking Coonamessett Pond. Once a private home, today the mansion serves as a center for many of the Association’s social gatherings and events, or it can be rented for private parties. On the main floor is a spacious function room set between two stately fireplaces, large enough to fit tables for a community dinner or concert, but intimate enough for a impromptu card game with friends. On one side of the Manor House is a library with plenty of built ins for the many donated books and a flat screen TV. The updated industrial kitchen is on the opposite side of the house and is equipped with many of the utensils, glassware, and dishes that are needed by the Hospitality Committee or a caterer. The bedrooms and baths on the second floor are available to rent by residents for their guests. In the last few years, the Manor House has been completely remodeled and furnished to make it a comfortable retreat for all. On the back of the main room of the house is a brick four-season porch framed by windows and sliding doors, both with screens and a beautiful view of the pond.
